Chintamani Chaturmukh Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form. It is used in the treatment of epilepsy, psychosis, etc. This medicine contains heavy metal ingredients, hence should only be taken under strict medical supervision
Ingredients of Chintamani Chaturmukh Ras (Swarna Moti Amber Yukta)
- Rasasindhura – Mercurial compound
- Loha Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Iron
- Abhraka Bhasma – Purified and processed Mica
- Swarna Bhasma – Bhasma of Gold
- Kumari – Aloe vera – juice extract
- Eranda – Castor – Ricinus communis – leaves
It is used in the treatment of psychosis, epilepsy, paralysis and such other – neuromuscular and neuropsychiatric conditions.
It acts as rejuvenative.
Dosage of Chintamani Chaturmukh Ras (Swarna Moti Amber Yukta)125 mg once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is traditionally administered along with honey, Triphala Kashaya, Brahmi swarasa (juice extract).
