Q. What is Natrum Sulphuricum?
Natrum Sulphuricum tablets are prepared from the biochemical Sulphate of Sodium.It is a highly useful liver remedy and is suitable to those living in damp basements. All complaints are worse in rainy weather and in damp environment. It is a very valuable remedy for spinal meningitis and for head injuries.

Q. What are uses/benefits of Natrum Sulphuricum?
It is helpful in liver ailments such as jaundice, typhoid, etc. There is also a strong suicidal tendency and dreams of running water. The eyes are yellow along with all discharges such as urine, stool, etc. the vomit is sour along with a brown and bitter coating on the tongue. There is a lot of flatulence along with loose stools. It is also suitable in cases of greenish yellow vaginal discharges especially those following an infection. The person has to hold the chest while coughing and the sputum is tough, viscid and greenish yellow. It is a remedy of choice in case of asthma in wet and humid weather.

Q. How to use Natrum Sulphuricum?
It is to be taken as an internal medicine. Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, 1-2 tablets thrice daily.  In acute conditions two tablets every hour for a day.  Children should be given one tablet every hour and when symptoms improve 1 tablet thrice daily.  If complaints are not relieved, consult a specialist.
