Dhawantharaistham

Dhawantharaistham is a supplementary ayurvedic medicine for nerve regeneration manufactured by Kerala Ayurveda that can help patients undergoing nerve-related treatments. This medicine is an arishtam made from fermented herbs and is named after Dhanwanthari, the God of medicine. It strengthens muscles and nerves. It is used for Vata disorders leading to paralysis and other related problems. Dhanwantharaishtam is also used for ayurvedic treatment after cesarean delivery, where it can be very helpful in treating all nerve and muscle-related problems.

The Vata dosha regulates the working of the nervous system in the human body, according to Ayurveda. All the senses and the nerves are governed by Vata. When the Vata dosha is disturbed, then it can have an impact on the nerves and give rise to various problems related to nerves like nerve pain, weakness, numbness in hand and feet, tingling sensation, etc. Neurological problems of all types are associated with a Vata imbalance.

The body has three energies Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. An imbalance of Vata creates a situation where pitta and Kapha cannot flow smoothly in the blood leading to blockages. This can lead to different diseases. The solution to this problem is to correct the imbalance in the dosha that will lead to the nerve problem being treated.
