Arvindasava (Aravindasavam) is classical polyherbal Ayurvedic formulation categorized under Arishta Category. This medicine for pediatric use and indicated in all diseases of children. The main ingredient of this medicine is Arvind commonally known as Kamal (lotus flower).In ayurveda, Arvindasava is effective tonic for all types of health conditions or diseases related to the children like rickets, diarrhea, cough, constipation etc.It improves appetite and increases physical and mental strength. Dosage of Arvindasava
- The recommended dosage of Arvindasava is 3 to 12 ml orally with equal amount of water after meals twice a day over one year of age and 10 to 20 drops up to one year, 2-3 times a day.
Precautions Of Arvindasava
Arvindasava is considerably safe for most infants, children and adults in recommended dosage of Arvindasava when taken under professional supervision.
Store in a cool place in tightly closed amber coloured bottle, protect from light and moisture.
Aravindasavam is not known to cause any serious side effects. It contains natural herbs and is completely devoid of any chemical ingredients. Hence, it is safe to use even by the pediatric patients. In rare cases, Aravindasavam may cause mild gastric irritation, especially when it is used in very high doses. Hence, it is advisable to take this medicine after food.
