Dioscorea is useful in colic or neuralgia pains mainly in the abdominal and bowels and stomach. Dioscorea causes pain in the bowels, spasmodic, twisting, writhing, drawing, lancinating, pulsating, burning. Pain in forehead, extending into nose, with nausea and coryza. Sharp cutting pain from left axilla to nipple and down side deep in lung.
