BC 4- Constipation

• Constipation refers to a decrease in the frequency of bowel movements or difficulty in passing stools.
• The stool of a constipated person is typically hard because it contains less water than normal.
• Constipation is a symptom and not a disease with many causes.
• Constipation most often affects women and adults ageing 65 and older. Pregnant women may have constipation, and it is a common problem following childbirth or surgery.
• Constipation may result from a poor diet, poor bowel habits or problems in elimination of stool, whether physical, functional, or voluntary. In addition, lack of exercise, side effects of prescription drugs used for other conditions, changes in lifestyle, low fluid intake and eating fast food may also cause constipation.

INDICATIONS:

• Bowels constipated without apparent cause
• Dry, hard, dark coloured stool with Dull headache, foul breath, coated-tongue is relieved with help of Bakson Biochemic Combination 4.
• Alternate diarrhoea and constipation

DOSAGE:

• Adults : 4 tablets every three hours or four times a day.
• Children : 1 to 2 tablets 4 times a day.
